2nd Saturday at the Artsway: June

On Saturday, June 11, 2-4pm, there are several activities at The Artsway!

• The Foundry community art gallery will offer a painting demonstration by Foundry artist, Kurt Plinke. Thisactivity is free and open to all ages.
• The Denton Community Demonstration Garden’s “Come Grow With Us” program will offer a fun & free activity in the garden.
• The Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore (FACES) hosts their Second Saturday Sit and Sew with FACES instructor Lynn Davis. Participants will learn how to make a pillow case. Materials will be provided for attendees to make and take home a completed item. $10/members, $15/non-members; for ages 16 and up. Drop-ins welcome to observe, but you must register in advance to participate in the class at http://fiberartscenter.com/category/current-classes/.

The Artsway in downtown Denton. Demonstrations and activities from a variety of artists are typically held at The Foundry community arts gallery (401 Market St.), FACES (7 N. Fourth St.) and/or at the Community Demonstration Garden (behind FACES).
