Mosaic on Furniture

Part ONE of a TWO part workshop with Foundry artist, Joanne Gelles. You will learn all the steps needed to mosaic a piece of furniture, a picture frame, or other flat surfaced object.
In the first session you will learn how to design your surface project; how to cut glass, pottery or ceramic tile pieces, and how to glue the design.
In the second session, you will learn all about grouting and finishing your creations! The second session date will be determined during the first class to guarantee availability.

Class size is limited to six people.

Please bring your own item to mosaic on. You may bring one or more of the following items: table top, picture frame, wood platform, or any other flat & solid surface!

$45/CCCA members, $50/non-members. 

About Your Instructor

Joanne Gelles has been doing mosaics and mixed media artwork for the past ten years. Her work can be seen at the Foundry in Denton, the Treasure Chest in Oxford, Md and also at the Green Phoenix in Easton, Md.
