The Caroline County Council of Arts is thrilled to announce The Foundry’s first-ever Summer Art Camp—and this one’s for creatives of all ages!
Starting this July, our historic arts hub in downtown Denton will be buzzing with creativity as we open our doors to campers young and young-at-heart. Whether you’re 6 or 66, this is your chance to explore hands-on crafts and imaginative projects in a welcoming, inspiring, and joy-filled space.
What to Expect:

🗓️ Choose Your Creative Adventure!
Pick the classes that inspire you most—one or all four! Each week offers a new, playful project:
July 9 – Make a Summer Wind Chime
Create a unique, beach-themed wind chime using driftwood, beads, sea glass, shells, and metal forks. A beautiful piece to hang outdoors and enjoy all summer long!
July 16 – Make a Fairy Garden House
Use cardboard and other upcycled materials to build a whimsical Fairy Garden House. Let your imagination run wild while crafting a tiny home for magical guests!
July 23 – Tie-Dye T-Shirts!
Learn the colorful craft of tie-dye! We’ll provide a t-shirt, but feel free to bring extra white 100% cotton items like socks, pillowcases, or shirts to dye.
July 30 – Button & Bead Mosaics
Design a small 4″ x 5″ mosaic using buttons and beads. Choose your favorite shape—like an elephant, heart, star, or spiral—and make it sparkle!

🕘 Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
💵 Cost: $35 for one class | $60 for two (includes all materials & snacks)
