We celebrate her creative journey, daily creative practices, and the collective voice of our community. This July, she is The Foundry’s Artist of the Month and is also partnering with the Caroline County Council of Arts to host 7 Days of Art x 4—a creative community challenge beginning July 6th.
The project invites participants to explore intentional creativity for seven days, with the option to continue for up to four weeks.
Having completed over a dozen 60+ day creative challenges, Shalagh knows firsthand the transformative power of daily artmaking. These practices have helped ease her anxieties, deepen her trust in herself and the creative process, and build the confidence to share her work with others. She’s hosted several online challenges and is thrilled to now lead one within her own community.
