Step back into the 1950s for a special afternoon with local author Saundra Jo Hayman, celebrating her One Summer Books series: One Summer Night and One Summer Day. Enjoy a charming tea party while Saundra shares the inspirations behind her stories, the historical context of the 1950s, and the real-life challenges women faced during that era. A Q and A will follow for guests who’d like to dive deeper into the world of the books.

Guests are welcome (but not required!) to dress in 1950s attire to add to the tea party atmosphere.

We will also offer a raffle basket featuring Saundra’s newest book Wheaton Hall, a tea cup, a box of tea, a bookmark, and other themed gifts. Guests may enter the raffle during the event.
