Celebrate Black history, art, and culture at The Foundry during this special exhibit inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. This event honors the creativity, resilience, and lasting cultural impact of one of the most influential artistic movements in American history.

The gallery will be filled with Harlem Renaissance–inspired artwork by local artists, exploring themes of identity, community, music, joy, and storytelling. Each piece reflects the spirit and legacy of a movement that shaped American art and culture.

What to Expect

  • 🎨 Harlem Renaissance–themed visual artwork by local artists

  • 🎶 Be sure to visit F.A.C.E.S. (Fabric Arts Center of the Eastern Shore) next door, who will also be participating in the celebration

  • 🍽️ Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres

  • 🤝 A welcoming space to celebrate Black history, creativity, and community
