Crystal Trinket Dish

Join us on August 14th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Foundry for a magical and creative experience! Renowned ceramic artist Sharon Guzman will guide you through the process of making your very own trinket dish, perfect for rings, keys, or any precious items you want to keep in a special place.

Adding a touch of enchantment, Kyleen Asche will teach you about the properties of crystals. Each participant will receive a crystal to incorporate into their trinket dish, learning about its unique qualities along the way.

During the class, you will learn various clay sculpting techniques, including carving and adding textures with stamps. You will also sculpt fun shapes like mushrooms and grasses, and choose your favorite crystal, with Kyleen’s guidance, to enhance your dish. Finally, you’ll select a glaze for your dish.

All materials, including clay, carving tools, and crystals, will be provided.

After the class, your dishes will need 4-6 weeks to dry, be glazed, and fired. You’ll be notified by email or text when your finished trinket dish is ready for pickup at The Foundry.
