Uniting Our Community Against Human Trafficking: An Educational Evening

On Tuesday, April 16th, join us at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, MD, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for a crucial discussion on human trafficking. This event, hosted by For All Seasons Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center, is a call to action for our entire community to come together and confront this modern-day slavery.

Human trafficking is a multifaceted issue that demands a collective response from various sectors of society. From community members to local and state leaders, businesses, nonprofits, government officials, and law enforcement, everyone has a role to play in raising awareness and combating trafficking.

During this educational event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the presence of human trafficking in our community, how to recognize the red flags, and the resources available to survivors. We’ll also delve into state initiatives aimed at ending trafficking.

Leading the discussion will be a panel of experts including Thomas Stack, Anti-Human Trafficking and Sexual Assault Response Manager for the City of Baltimore; Heather Amador, Deputy Director of Victim Services Policy and Programs at the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy; and Susan Ahlstrom, Regional Navigator for All Seasons.

Following the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A session where audience members can engage with the panelists and deepen their understanding of the issue.

This event is free to attend and is organized by For All Seasons Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center, which provides therapy, psychiatry, advocacy, and outreach and education to English and Spanish-speaking individuals regardless of their ability to pay. The Maryland Regional Navigator program is just one of the many ways they serve our community.

Join us in connecting our community to stop human trafficking. Together, we can make a difference.
