One Summer Books Afternoon:
A 1950s Tea Party and Book Signing
with Saundra Jo Hayman
Join us on Saturday, January 24, from 1 to 3 PM for a special 1950s-themed tea party and book signing with Saundra Jo Hayman, celebrating her One Summer Books series: One Summer Night and One Summer Day.
Step back into the 1950s as Saundra shares the inspiration behind her stories and the real-life challenges women faced during that era. She will discuss the themes in her books, the historical context, and the personal experiences that shaped her writing. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q and A session with the author.
Enjoy a charming tea party with tea and pastries or crumpets while you listen. Feel free to dress in 1950s attire to match the theme, though it is completely optional. Come as you are and enjoy the afternoon.
Books will be available for purchase, and attendees are welcome to bring copies they already own to be personalized and signed by Saundra Jo Hayman.
We will also be offering a raffle basket featuring Saundra’s newest book, Wheaton Hall, along with a tea cup, a box of tea, a bookmark, and other themed Gifts. Guests may enter the raffle during the event.
