Meet our August & September Artist of the Month, Jenna Bowles! Jenna’s contemporary art and animal portraits are beloved by collectors across the county. Jenna is a joyfully expressive acrylic painter and mixed media artist. A self-identified queer women, her work brings together her experiences of queer culture, her knack for bold color combinations and a love for the natural world. She lives in Denton, Maryland as a recent transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area. Jenna received a BFA in illustration from Maryland Institute, College of Art in 2005 and has since showed her work in various galleries on the both the east and west coasts.
